The department offers a 5-year Co-operative Bachelor of Engineering Program in Chemical Engineering, which is accredited by Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board.

The Coop Program

The co-operative program is mandatory, and provides the graduating Chemical Engineers with 20 months of work experience that enhances their technical abilities, hones their communication skills, and puts them in an advantageous position to obtain permanent employment compared to the graduates from traditional programs.  Job seeking skills and industry contact are made with the support of the Office of Cooperative Education.       http://www.ryerson.ca/co-op/
