RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Lachemi's recent research projects focus on the following areas: behavior of structures and properties of concrete materials; development & use of self consolidating concrete; high performance & reactive powder concretes; use of waste products in concrete; large scale and in-situ structure instrumentation; remote monitoring of civil engineering structures; computer simulation of structures; sustainability & concrete construction; rehabilitation and repair of concrete structures; non destructive testing of concrete structures; thermal response of concrete structures; and confinement of concrete.
