Co-operative Education
Co-operative education (co-op) programs integrate academic studies with career-related work experience in relevant companies and agencies. Co-op involves alternating periods of paid full time work in jobs related to an area of study, with periods of academic study. The alternating work and academic terms begin following second year studies. The inclusion of the work terms lengthens the program of study from four to five years.
