Ryerson Athletic Centre

The Ryerson University Athletic Centre (RAC) is one of the finest university recreation centres in Canada!

Location: The Recreation and Athletics Centre (RAC) is located in the centre of the Ryerson campus. Enter through the 40 or 50 Gould Street arch, located one block north of Dundas Street and one block west of Church Street. Enter RAC through the historic facade.

What's at the RAC?

  • 50' x 80' supervised fitness centre with free weights and weight machines
  • Cardio room with more than 35 machines
  • A 3-lane, 160-yard banked indoor running track
  • 3 sprung hardwood floor dance studios
  • 4 international squash courts
  • 4 sprung hardwood floor gymnasiums
  • A 25-yard pool
  • Spacious women's and men's change rooms, each with saunas

The Ryerson library acquires, stores and provides access to a variety of information sources.

Location: The Ryerson Library is located at 350 Victoria Street, on the second floor.

The Ryerson bookstore carries a wide variety of reference and handbooks in computers, engineering, architecture, interior design, fashion and other subjects. The store carries new and used textbooks and an extensive range of arts, drafting, and stationery supplies. You can also find the latest in Ryerson clothing (from T-shirts to leather jackets), gifts, school rings, greeting cards, knapsacks and many other items.

Ryerson OneCard

OneCard

For temporary needs such as photocopying for visiting patrons or if you've left your card at home, a non-ID card can be obtained from any Add Cash machine on campus, or by visiting the OneCard office during business hours.

Once obtained you can continue to add funds to the card. Keep in mind that non-ID cards are not personalized and can be used by anyone, so be sure to make a note of the account number on the receipt when you get the card.

Campus Tours

Ryerson University's general campus tours are led by Ryerson Student Ambassadors - they'll give you the inside scoop on student life and services at Ryerson. You'll get a feel for the Ryerson community and what it would be like to live and study here!
Location: Jorgenson Hall, First Floor (380 Victoria Street)

What is Included in a General Campus Tour
Ryerson's general campus tours, which are approximately one and a half hours in length (90 minutes), will introduce you to:

  • Academics - While our general campus tours are not program specific, you will see a variety of academic buildings, labs, and classrooms on your tour.  These sites may include the Rogers Communication Centre, Ryerson Theatre, Early Learning Centre, Architecture building, and the Centre for Computing and Engineering, among others.
  • Student Life - Find out where services like the Student Financial Assistance Office, Access Centre, Career Centre and Health Centre are located and visit our new Student Campus Centre. You will also have the opportunity to visit the spaces where extra-curricular clubs and groups meet and host events.
  • Athletics - You'll visit Ryerson's Recreation and Athletics Centre - the "RAC" - an innovative underground facility that houses a large supervised fitness centre, a cardio room, four international squash courts, an indoor running track, a pool, and much more!
