Charitable donation collections on campus

Ryersonians are invited to donate non-perishable canned goods at locations across the university

Departments across campus are collecting goods and food items for those in need this holiday season. Community members are invited to donate to any one of the following collections at Ryerson:

  • The Ted Rogers School of Management are hosting a food drive until Dec. 15 with all proceeds going to the Scott Mission. The most needed items are baby formula, rice, dried beans, lentils and grains, and non-perishable canned goods. Donation boxes are in the office, TRS 1-004 on the 7th floor, as well as at the top of the 8th floor escalator.
  • The HIV Prevention Lab is collecting goods for the PWA’s (Toronto People with AIDS Foundation) annual Joy Drive outside of SBB 207 (South Bond Building). People wanting to donate should note that access to the second floor of the building is restricted on evenings (doors are locked at 6 p.m.) and weekends.
  • Faculty of Science is having a Reverse Advent Calendar, collecting non-perishable food items until Dec. 21 for the Good Food Centre and Toronto's Sounds of the Season. Donations are being accepted at the dean's office in VIC 740 (Victoria Building).
  • University Relations and University Advancement are accepting donations until Dec. 15 of any unwrapped toys or gift cards for the Yonge Street Mission. A box is located at reception on the 9th floor of 415 Yonge Street.
