CONVOCATION

You will be getting the tickets in the mail in late May for Spring Convocation 2013. You cannot RSVP unless you have received your tickets.

Each graduating student is eligible for two guest tickets for the Ryerson Theatre. Extra tickets for Theatre seating are NOT AVAILABLE for any Convocation ceremony.

However, two tickets for our on-campus closed circuit TV viewing of the ceremony will be available upon request when you rsvp your theatre tickets. RSVP instructions will be included with the May eligibility letter mailing. The closed circuit TV room is located at PODIUM 250. (POD 250)

Please ensure that your guests have their activated tickets in advance and that they bring them on the ceremony date. If they forget them there is no guarantee of seating without the tickets in hand.

PLEASE NOTE: Convocation tickets are only available to students who have received from the University written confirmation of their eligibility to graduate.

All students who applied to graduate will receive a letter in the mail indicating whether they will be graduating or not. All applicants who are eligible and graduating will also receive two guests tickets for seating in the Theatre, an opportunity to request two tickets for an on-screen broadcast, and a day-of Convocation information insert.

If you have applied to graduate and if by early June (for Spring Convocation) or mid October (for Fall Convocation) did not receive the eligibility letter you should email  the Convocation and Awards Office at convocation@ryerson.ca.
