LOGIN HELP / TECHNICAL SUPPORT - Students & Applicants

LOGIN PROBLEM CHECKLIST : STUDENTS & APPLICANTS

Before submitting your problem to support, please make sure you have done the following. We will likely ask you for your results when trying to resolve your problem.

Activate Your my.ryerson Account:
my.ryerson accounts are used to access the my.ryerson portal and your online courses.
http://www.ryerson.ca/accounts

Check Your Password:
Your password must be typed exactly as you set it during activation - pay close attention to lowercase and capitals.
*Forget your password? Change your password using your challenge phrases.
If you forget your password and have not set up challenge phrases, please bring your student ID card to the Student Computing Help Desk (KHW71), where an advisor will change your password.
*If you are in a distance course, and cannot come to the Student Computing Help Desk (KHW71), please refer to Distance Education student support.

Check Your Username:
Students: Be sure you are using your my.ryerson username and not another account. Your my.ryerson username is the part before the @ in your Ryerson email (RMail) account (followed by ryerson.ca -- if your email address ends in anything else, it is NOT an RMail account).
Applicants: Be sure you are typing in your 9-digit student number.
Check Your Keyboard: Make sure the Caps Lock is turned OFF.
Try Logging into the RMail Webmail Client:
RMail webmail uses the same username and password as my.ryerson. Please check to see if you are able to login to webmail. https://mail.ryerson.ca
*Note: Applicants do not have RMail accounts.
ATTENTION: 1st Year Students:
If you are a first year student and are still using your student number to log in to my.ryerson.ca, please log in to my.ryerson.ca and follow the instructions to select your my.ryerson user name.  Please wait 30 minutes before signing onto my.ryerson.ca with your new user name.
Check your web browser:
You may not be using a supported browser, OR your browser may not be set up properly. Please check this section of our support site to make sure your browser is set up for Blackboard.
