Entrance Scholarships

All Ryerson Entrance Scholarships and Renewed Scholarships have been deposited directly into students' tuition fees RAMSS accounts.

Ryerson University offers entrance scholarships to qualified students entering their first year of study. For detailed information/eligibility criteria or to print a copy of an application click on Yes beside the scholarship you are interested in. Scholarships that require an application can be submitted before you receive your official Admission Offer.

Guaranteed & Competitive Entrance Scholarships
To be eligible for consideration, students must:
- Be currently enrolled full-time (minimum of three Ontario grade 12 U/M courses or Canadian provincial equivalent within the 2012-13 regular school year) in a Canadian secondary school;
- Have been continuously enrolled full-time (no gaps in full-time attendance prior to the 2012-13 regular school year);
- Be enrolling in a postsecondary institution for the first time;
- Have submitted an active application to a full-time undergraduate four-year degree program at Ryerson via the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) application process by May 1, 2013.

International Student Merit Scholarships
Open to International applicants entering year one of a full-time four-year undergraduate degree program in Fall 2014; students must be enrolling in a postsecondary institution for the first time and have completed an application to Ryerson, via the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) by March 1, 2014, and must be currently enrolled (full-time) in the final year of an out-of-country secondary school (or equivalent) and entering Canada with Study Permit authorization. Applicants must achieve first-class standing in the country-specific equivalent of the Ontario Grade 12U program.

Adele Turcotte Memorial Award
One award is available to a first-year student in the School of Fashion: Communication or Design; must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person, must be an Ontario resident, demonstrate financial need; must be a full-time (4-6 courses) student; in clear academic standing; achieved a minimum 80% average in 6 best Grade 12 U/M courses; and outstanding entrance portfolio.

Catherine Lund Entrance Award Scholarship
The award provides financial assistance and recognizes the academic achievement of full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the School of Accounting and Finance; open to students entering their first year of the program, must be a resident of Ontario, a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person; must have a minimum 85% average in grade 12; and demonstrate leadership potential through involvement in extracurricular activities such as school or community clubs, organizations or events where they have taken a leadership role.

Open to students who are entering first-year full-time studies in a Ted Rogers School of Management undergraduate degree program: Accounting & Finance, Business Management, Business Technology Management, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Retail Management. Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person, a resident of Ontario, must demonstrate financial need, and must come from the Pathways to Education program in Regent Park.

Ontario Professional Engineers Foundation for Education Entrance Awards
Awarded to students entering an Engineering program who are well-rounded students and exhibit characteristics of leadership through involvement in professional affairs and/or extracurricular activities related to the engineering profession. One male and one female engineering recipient from the Faculty of Engineering, Architectural Science will be chosen by the Dean based on the above criteria.
