Carla Cassidy Award
This award recognizes an eligible fourth year student enrolled in a full-time Arts program, with the highest CGPA across the Faculty of Arts, through 6 semesters of study; must demonstrate financial need.  Students with the highest CGPA at the end of the sixth semester and preregistered to take at least four billing units in the upcoming fall semester will be identified and invited to apply to the award.

COMMA Book Award in the Faculty of Arts
To be awarded in each of the fall and winter terms to one full-time undergraduate student who is a self-identified person from a racialized group and has demonstrated financial need.

Dean's Liberal Studies Essay Prize
Every year the Dean of Arts awards a number of academic prizes to students whose essays in Liberal Studies courses have been nominated by their professors. Prizes are awarded for essays from both lower-level and upper-level liberal studies courses. To qualify an essay must have been awarded a grade of A.

Ryerson Gold Medals
The Ryerson University Gold Medal is the University's highest honour, awarded to students with outstanding academic achievement combined with outstanding involvement with the University, their profession, and/or the community. All full- and part-time students graduating in either the fall or spring of an academic year are eligible for nomination. The awards are presented to one student from each Faculty during the Spring Convocation ceremonies. Students are nominated for this award by their academic Program Departments.

Dean of Communication and Design Travel Bursaries
Communication and Design students who wish to pursue an international exchange opportunity may apply for a travel bursary. The bursary provides assistance to cover travel costs to the host educational institution as well as housing costs.

Faculty of Community Services
Dean's Graduate Essay Writing Award
This award acknowledges graduate students for the winning essay within each of the Faculty of Community Services graduate school programs - Early Childhood Studies, Immigration and Settlement Studies, Nursing, Nutrition Communication, Social Work and Urban Development. In 2009-10 there will be one award per program valued at $500 each. No application is required. Graduate Program Directors may submit their recommendation throughout the year.

Social Development Experience Grants
This grant supports full-time students who have had proposals accepted by their Schools for placements opportunities that will contribute to social development activities related to the applicant's field of practice. The grant is intended to support placement opportunities that will contribute to quality of life and enhance the capacity of adults, families, children and communities to create healthy, caring, safe and supportive environments for all.

The Faculty of Community Services Undergraduate Research Scholarship was established to encourage undergraduate students to engage in a research project focused on a question they have that has emerged from from their academic experience, student engagement, transition from student to a professional role, and/or teaching and learning experience.

Awards are open to second, third or fourth-year undergraduate female engineering students who have made a notable contribution to Women in Engineering activities; must be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants who meet modest academic expectations and demonstrate financial need.

Genivar Scholarship
To a third-year undergraduate student registered in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering or Architectural Science with a Project Management specialization; is bilingual; has high academic standing; and demonstrates a desire to pursue a career in the design and management of construction, project management, or consulting engineering.

Ontario Professional Engineers Foundation for Education Awards
Open to second, third and fourth-year students enrolled in a full-time Engineering program; who demonstrate high academic achievement (min CGPA of 3.00); demonstrate leadership through involvement in professional affairs and/or extracurricular activities related to the engineering profession, including the holding of an executive or senior position in the Engineering society, Engineers without Borders Chapter, Women in Engineering or participation in an engineering competition.

To provide financial support for a student who has demonstrated financial need and academic excellence in course/courses focused on electrical circuits. To be eligible students must: be enrolled full-time in a degree program in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at Ryerson University, be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person, be an Ontario resident, demonstrate financial need , demonstrate overall excellence in their studies with a CGPA of 3.00 or higher, have a clear academic standing and demonstrate academic excellence in course/courses focused on electrical circuits.

To provide financial assistance for a fourth-year student enrolled in the Faculty of Science who has demonstrated financial need and academic excellence in their completed third year of study in any Science program. To be eligible students must: be enrolled as a full-time fourth-year student in a degree program in the Faculty of Science at Ryerson University, be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person, be an Ontario resident, demonstrate financial need , demonstrate overall excellence in their studies with a CGPA of 3.00 or higher, have a clear academic standing and demonstrate academic excellence in the third year of undergraduate studies in the Faculty of Science.

Ted Rogers School of Management Business Leadership Award
To recognize the academic achievement and exceptional leadership of a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce program. The award is open to students entering second, third or fourth year of undergraduate study this coming fall semester in the Business Management, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Business Technology Management or Retail Management program. Must have attained a minimum 3.50 CGPA and a clear academic standing. Must demonstrate exceptional leadership and initiative within the Ryerson community and the community at large.
