Student must be enrolled full-time in the fourth year of the Project Management specialization of the Architectural Science program; have a clear academic standing; have a minimum CGPA of 3.00.  Application must include a two-page letter describing the applicant's strength and accomplishments in academics and extracurricular activities demonstrating: respect, integrity, service, excellence, ability to work in a tem environment, and superior communication skills; and at least one letter of support from individuals in organizations that can comment on the applicant's contributions to the activities in the areas described above.

To be eligible for this award a student must be a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in the Architectural Science program, demonstrate academic achievement with a CGPA of 3.00 or higher, have a clear academic standing, demonstrate financial need, and be undertaking curriculum based travel. Curricular travel is defined as "participation in a field trip outside of Canada organized by Ryerson faculty as part of a course or studio taken for credit at Ryerson in the current academic year".

To recognize the combination of extra-curricular contributions in the field of study related to Architecture/Building/Construction and the academic achievements of a student enrolled full-time in the Department of Architectural Science or Department of Civil Engineering; student must be taking at least 80% course load and have successfully completed all courses from previous years; clear academic standing; minimum CGPA of 3.00; demonstrate evidence of leadership; commitment to the Architecture/Building/Construction profession; interest in a career in the Architecture/Building/Construction industry; professional attitude concerning school and extra-curricular activities; demonstration of exceptional organizational skills and determination; and, concern for issues involving sustainability in construction.
