Maurice Arthur Pope Scholarship in History
Up to $1400
Open to students who are enrolled in the ACS program; must have completed at least four HST-coded (History) courses successfully, be enrolled in the third or fourth year of the ACS program, and be in clear academic standing; must have a minimum A- average both overall and in their History courses.

Doug Webb Award in History
Up to $1350
For a student entering third or fourth year in the ACS program, who has completed at least four HST-coded courses and has displayed academic excellence; must have completed, with a B+ grade minimum, a course in at least one of the following subjects: History of the Third Reich, History of the First World War, History of the Second World War, or History of the American Civil War, must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons; must be Ontario residents, must demonstrate financial need. Applicants should submit a cover letter/statement of interest, resume and list of references, in confidence to the Chair of the Department of History, naming The Doug Webb Award in History and explaining how they meet the Award criteria.

Spirit of ACS Awards
Up to $250
Awarded to one second-year student who displays the ‘spirit of ACS’; for the purpose of this award, a person who displays the ‘spirit of ACS’ is someone who is intensely and personally engaged with ideas, and who consistently displays a commitment to building community and to fostering interpersonal exchange (at any level and in any form).

Awarded to two third-year students who display the ‘spirit of ACS’; for the purpose of this award, a person who displays the ‘spirit of ACS’ is someone who is intensely and personally engaged with ideas, and who consistently displays a commitment to building community and to fostering interpersonal exchange (at any level and in any form).
