Open to students enrolled in the School of Child and Youth Care. To be eligible a student must: be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Person; be an Ontario resident; demonstrate financial need; demonstrate academic excellence and leadership in areas that exemplify the mission and values of the School of Child and Youth Care.

Children's Rights Award
Up to $1000

Open to students enrolled in the full-time or part-time School of Child and Youth Care program, must be in clear academic standing, must have earned a minimum 3.30 GPA (B+) grade in the Children's Rights course, and must have advanced the rights of children through employment, internhip/work placement, volunteerism, and/or community engagement. Students must submit their resume along with a 500 word essay discussing how they have advanced rights of children through their employment, internship/work placement, volunteerism, and/or commuinity engagement.

Open to full-time students enrolled in the School of Child and Youth Care who are going into second, third or fourth year. To be eligible a student must: be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Person; be an Ontario resident; demonstrate financial need; demonstrate academic excellence and leadership in areas that exemplify the mission and values of the School of Child and Youth Care; be a non smoker.

Nancy C. Sprott Award
Up to $5000
Open to full-time students enrolled in the School of Child and Youth Care who are going into second, third or fourth year. To be eligible a student must: be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Person; be an Ontario resident; demonstrate financial need; demonstrate academic excellence and leadership in areas that exemplify the mission and values of the School of Child and Youth Care.
