Offered to students in the Collaborative and Post Diploma Nursing Programs who demonstrate financial need; must be academically clear.

Offered to a student in the Collaborative or Post Diploma Nursing Degree program who demonstrates a dedication to social advocacy, qualities of integrity and courage.

Integracare Community Health Award (Sponsored by Integracare Incorporated)
Offered to a graduating mature student from the Collaborative or Post Diploma Nursing Degree Program that demonstrates a positive attitude and contribution to the program, acdemic proficiency, and a career interest in geriatric or community health.

Kensington Foundation Award
Offered to one Collaborative and one Post Diploma Nursing Degree student with a good academic standing that demonstrates nursing practice reflective of strong analytical and creative abilities and has a commitment to the practice of nursing in the community.

Jillian Logel Memorial Clinical Practice Scholarship
Open to a full-time student entering the third year of study, with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 based on academic performance at the completion of second year, demonstrated excellence and compassion in a clinical practice setting as confirmed by nursing faculty advisors and submission of a 500 word essay outlining the candidate's commitment to patient care and excellence in clinical practice.

Offered to a Collaborative or Post Diploma Nursing Degree student who has demonstrated academic excellence and commitment in areas such as humanism, social justice, and feminism; is a Canadian citizen/permanent resident; Ontario resident; demonstrates financial need.

Revera Inc. Annual Gerontology Award
For the three students graduating from the Collaborative Nursing Degree Program at Ryerson University who have demonstrated insight and compassion for the needs of elderly persons in their clinical placement, in the classroom, and their work in the community, as well as a commitment to the field of gerontological nursing.

Nancy C. Sprott Nursing Award
To be eligible students must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person, be an Ontario resident, demonstrate financial need, demonstrate academic excellence with a minimum CGPA of 3.00, a clear academic standing, demonstrate leadership in areas that exemplify the mission and values of the Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing, demonstrate a commitment to the field of Nursing through related work experience, volunteer activities in the community or in the Ryerson community.

Catherine Stanford Carter Award
The recipient must be an Ontario resident (full-time or part-time) who has completed a minimum 50% of the program in either the Collaborative or Post Diploma program. Must demonstrate clinical excellence and commitment in one of the focus areas: palliative care, community health or gerontology; commitment/intent to continue in the designated area of interest beyond graduation; demonstrated financial need; academic proficiency; exceptional communication skills; and commitment to the development of the profession.

To a second or third-year student with a GPA of 3.00 or higher, who demonstrates excellence and commitment in direct patient care which must be described in their cover letter.

L. & D. West Humanitarian Award
Registered as full-time in the basic program. For maintaining a satisfactory academic standing as determined by the faculty (high scholastic standing is not a high priority). Demonstration of a high level of caring, empathy and compassion as a nursing practitioner as evidenced in nursing practice (this criteria is to be given the highest priority).
