| Spencer Caldwell Memorial Scholarships Up to $1250 To a graduating RTA student demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit and activity in some aspect of broadcasting. Candidates for this scholarship should have been operating a business service for enough time to have a client base. The business/service should be a true demonstration of your entrepreneurial skills. It cannot be part of a school project. |

| Fairchild Public Affairs Award Up to $3000 Fairchild Radio wishes to encourage the development of multicultural awareness and understanding amongst individuals entering the broadcasting industry through the establishment of this special scholarship program; must enrolled in the third or fourth year of the program; have a clear academic standing; minimum CGPA of 2.50 or better. Application must include a taped radio program that must have a special focus on Ethnic, Social or Political issues. |

| Matthew Pryshlak Memorial Award Up to $500 Mrs. Pryshlak and her family have donated toward the Matthew Pryshlak Memorial Award in the RTA School of Media. The award recognizes Matthew Pryshlak, an alumnus of RTA and an individual who spent much of his working life devoted to the television industry. The award is available to a third-year student enrolled in RTA with a course focus on Television, who is in clear academic standing and has demonstrated financial need. |

| Bill Roberts Award of Excellence Up to $1000 To be eligible for this award a student must be a student of the RTA School of Media, must achieve a GPA of 3.00 or higher, must demonstrate an interest in the study of ethics or spirituality or faith in media, or demonstrate an interest in the impact of ethics or spirituality or faith in media. Students will submit a 500 word essay about the relevance of ethics, spirituality, and/or faith in media. |

| Rogers Sportsnet Ontario Mentorship Program Up to $3000 The scholarships are open to all full-time students in the first, second or third year of the RTA program. To be eligible to receive a Rogers Sportsnet Ontario Mentorship Program a student must submit a biography detailing their sports-related experience as well as a 750 word comparative analysis of sports broadcasting in the Toronto market. In addition, the student must have a minimum GPA of 2.80 and meet the criteria for diversity (aboriginal peoples, visible minorities, women and persons with disabilities). |

| Weather Network Scholarship Up to $2500 Open to students officially registered in third or fourth year of the Journalism degree program or the RTA degree program, Television major only. The award is open to members of visible minorities, Aboriginal students or students with a disability. (In the case of a student with a disability they should be registered with Ryerson's Access Centre or be willing to register.) Students must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or better, have clear academic standing and demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in Television. |
