Spencer Caldwell Memorial Scholarships Up to $1250 To a graduating RTA student demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit and activity in some aspect of broadcasting. Candidates for this scholarship should have been operating a business service for enough time to have a client base. The business/service should be a true demonstration of your entrepreneurial skills. It cannot be part of a school project.	Yes*

Fairchild Public Affairs Award Up to $3000 Fairchild Radio wishes to encourage the development of multicultural awareness and understanding amongst individuals entering the broadcasting industry through the establishment of this special scholarship program; must enrolled in the third or fourth year of the program; have a clear academic standing; minimum CGPA of 2.50 or better. Application must include a taped radio program that must have a special focus on Ethnic, Social or Political issues.	Yes*
Fairchild Scholarships Up to $3750 x 2 Fairchild Radio wishes to encourage the development of multicultural awareness and understanding among individuals entering the broadcasting industry through the establishment of this special scholarship program; must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person; be an Ontario resident; demonstrate financial need; must be enrolled in second, third or fourth yearof the program; have a clear academic standing; minimum CGPA of 2.50 or better; must demonstrate multicultural awareness and understanding through an audio production piece that has been produced as part of a course curriculum. FLOW 93.5 FM Milestone Award Up to $2600 This scholarship is designed to recognize a visible minority student who has demonstrated outstanding creativity in Audio/Radio journalism or music production; officially registered in second or third year; minimum CGPA of 2.80 or better and in clear academic standing; must exhibit significant community involvement. Joana Fraser Award Up to $290 This award is in honour of Joana Fraser, a second-year RTA student who died of cancer in April 1994. This award reflects both Joana's creativity and unflinching deteremination to face what life dealt her.	Yes*
John Webb Graham Q. C. Rogers Multicultural Scholarship (Presented by CFMT Television ) Full tuition fees x 3 This entrance award is based on ethnocultural or native background, academic proficiency and career aspirations.	Yes*
William Harding Memorial Award (Presented by Domino Theatre Incorporated) Up to $200 To the advanced media writing student who demonstrated outstanding ability in the writing of dramatic dialogue within the context of a film or TV script.	Yes*
Matt Jesson Award Up to $1450 The award recognizes audio production excellence and creativity in a production by a third-year student. The award honours the memory of the late Matt Jesson, a 1992 graduate of Ryerson's RTA School of Media.	Yes*
Ross Lewchuk Memorial Award Up to $1000 To be eligible for this award students must have a clear academic standing with a GPA of 2.50 or higher, be enrolled as full-time undergraduate student in the RTA School of Media; demonstrate overall excellence in their academic and creative work, and have the highest GPA average in BDC988 (Television Editing Specialty); application must include a video sample(s) of work/project(s) completed in BDC988. Stuart and Pat MacKay "Good Citizenship" Award Up to $750 To the student who has displayed significant volunteerism, or made a significant contribution to the betterment of the Ryerson or RTA community.	Yes*

Newfoundland Broadcasting Company Limited Award Up to $300 To the graduating student demonstrating the most proficiency and creativity using significant content through the TV media.	Yes*
ORT Micki Moore Project Award Up to $1000 Student must demonstrate financial need; be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person; be an Ontario resident; be currently enrolled full-time in the fourth year of the RTA undergraduate degree program; be in clear academic standing; have a minimum CGPA of 3.00; submit a two-page written proposal and budget outlining the work (production practicum) they wish to undertake in their final year. Syd Perlmutter Entrance Award For students entering their first year in the RTA program; must be a current full-time (2011-12) secondary school student within Canada; must demonstrate how they believe their role in media can make a difference within the community and society; must demonstrate financial need. Matthew Pryshlak Memorial Award Up to $500 Mrs. Pryshlak and her family have donated toward the Matthew Pryshlak Memorial Award in the RTA School of Media. The award recognizes Matthew Pryshlak, an alumnus of RTA and an individual who spent much of his working life devoted to the television industry. The award is available to a third-year student enrolled in RTA with a course focus on Television, who is in clear academic standing and has demonstrated financial need.	Yes*
Rho Alpha Kappa Alumni Association Awad Up to $1475 Open to a full-time student registered in second or third year of the RTA program; must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person; must be an Ontario resident; must demonstrate financial need; msut demonstrate academic proficiency with a CGPA of 3.00 or higher and has made a significant contribution to the sense of of the RTA community. Rho Alpha Kappa Alumni Association Bursary Up to $500 Open to a full-time student registered in second or third year of the RTA program; for overall academic proficiency, demonstrated financial need and significant contribution to a sense of RTA community.	Yes*
Bill Roberts Award of Excellence Up to $1000 To be eligible for this award a student must be a student of the RTA School of Media, must achieve a GPA of 3.00 or higher, must demonstrate an interest in the study of ethics or spirituality or faith in media, or demonstrate an interest in the impact of ethics or spirituality or faith in media. Students will submit a 500 word essay about the relevance of ethics, spirituality, and/or faith in media.	Yes*
Rogers Sportsnet Ontario Mentorship Program Up to $3000 The scholarships are open to all full-time students in the first, second or third year of the RTA program. To be eligible to receive a Rogers Sportsnet Ontario Mentorship Program a student must submit a biography detailing their sports-related experience as well as a 750 word comparative analysis of sports broadcasting in the Toronto market. In addition, the student must have a minimum GPA of 2.80 and meet the criteria for diversity (aboriginal peoples, visible minorities, women and persons with disabilities).	Yes*

Sony of Canada Charitable Foundation Scholarship Up to $1500 Open to students currently enrolled in third year as full-time students in the School of Radio and Television Arts program and have a clear academic standing; must have the highest CGPA at the end of the second year.	No
Ernest O. Swan Memorial Scholarship Up to $650 For demonstrating the most complete understanding and creative application of technology in the senior audio courses.	No
Phyllis Switzer/CTV Broadcast Management Award Up to $2600 This endowed award has been established by the CTV Television Network to recognize a graduating student or a student who has recently graduated from the RTA School of Media who wishes to pursue graduate level studies.	Yes*
Phyllis Switzer Memorial Award Up to $2300 To a student entering the first year of the program full time; academic proficiency; proven management and leadership skills in human resources management, through volunteer teamwork/student council work/community involvement; demonstrated financial need; and other factors. Weather Network Scholarship Up to $2500 Open to students officially registered in third or fourth year of the Journalism degree program or the RTA degree program, Television major only. The award is open to members of visible minorities, Aboriginal students or students with a disability. (In the case of a student with a disability they should be registered with Ryerson's Access Centre or be willing to register.) Students must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or better, have clear academic standing and demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in Television.	Yes*
Arthur Weinthal Award Up to $930 The award is open to Ontario-resident students registered on a full-time basis in the fourth year of the four-year program in the RTA School of Media who have completed Internship Placements in accordance with criteria for Internships established by the School of Radio and Television Arts. Henry White Kinnear International Exchange Student Award Up to 3 x $1000 To assist third-year students undertaking international exchange studies in the RTA School of Media; must be registered full-time and entering third year of the RTA program; be approved for an international exchange; have demonstrated financial need; have a minimum GPA of 3.00; be in clear academic standing.
