Aboriginal Postsecondary Education and Training Bursary
For Aboriginal (including Metis, First Nation, non-Status, and/or Inuit) students who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons; are Ontario residents; demonstrate financial need, and attain a GPA of 2.00 or higher, with a clear academic standing.

Metis Nation of Ontario Bursary
For students who self-identify as Metis; are residents of Ontario; must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents; demonstrate financial need; satisfactory academic performance. Students may apply for and receive the bursary on an annual basis until they have completed their studies

Ryerson Faculty Association - Aboriginal Student Awards
The Ryerson Faculty Association awards annual scholarships to acknowledge the efforts of Aboriginal students who maintain academic proficiency, as well as demonstate a commitment to Social Justice and/or Labour Relations, both on- and off-campus.

Salad King International Student Award
Applicants must be full-time international students holding a valid study permit; this award is for students in the upper year of their program (2nd year or higher, or graduate students);applicants must complete an application form to explain why they deserve to be given the award, with specific examples to demonstrate why they qualify; applicants must submit one or more letters of recommendation and support; students must have a minimum CGPA of 2.00; applicants must submit a copy of their current resume; students must currently be enrolled in courses (includes students participating in Co-op).

Ontario Bridging Participant Assistance Program (OBPAP)
Ontario Bridging Participant Assistance Program
For students commencing studies between April 1, 2012 and March 31, 2013. OBPAP will provide bursaries to individual students for educational costs; to participants attending the Internationally Educated Dietitians Pre-Registration Program, the Middle Level Manager with Technical Background Bridge Training Program, the International Midwifery Pre-Registration Program, the Workplace Communications in Canada Program, or the International Accounting & Finance Professionals Program.

Brian Segal Award
For a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in a degree program; completed at least one full year of study; academic proficiency demonstrated by a minimum CGPA of 3.00; and outstanding contribution to the cultural and/or athletic life of Ryerson on a voluntary basis.

Claude Lajeunesse Award
For student athletes who have participated in their sport for at least two years; minimum GPA of 3.50 in the previous school year; demonstration of sportsmanship and leadership.

Devon Lord Brooks Athletic Award
To be eligible for this award a student must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or protected person; be an Ontario resident; demonstrate financial need; be a full-time undergraduate or a full-time graduate student registered at Ryerson University; have a minimum CGPA of 2.67 or higher and have a clear academic standing; be an active participant in good standing on a Canadian Interuniversity Sport or Ontario University Athletics team at Ryerson University; must submit a 250-500 word essay describing the role athletics has played in your development and demonstrate how you have or will contribute to and enhance your community.
