Curriculum Advising

Advisement Reports

Academic Advisement Reports  can be used to show you  your progress-to-date in meeting  your program completion  requirements. Two options are offered. Please see below for the option that is available to you.

On-line, Self-service Academic Advisement Report

RAMSS offers an online, Self Service Academic Advisement tool that can generate a report to show  you:

  • all graded courses
  • all currently enrolled courses
  • all transfer credit courses
  • your program course (curriculum) requirements
  • how your completed, current, and transfer credit courses fulfill your  degree requirements
  • any extra courses you have taken that are not being applied to meeting degree requirements.

Who Can Use the RAMSS Self Service Advisement Reports?

All full-time undergraduate students who were admitted to 1st year of a Ryerson degree program in Fall 2002 or later (including students in two-year programs designed for University Graduates)

  • students who were admitted to a Co-op program in 2001 or later
  • students admitted with Advanced Standing in Fall 2006 or later.

 Fees Information

There are no fees charged for students who are eligible to use, and choose to use, the On-line, Self-service Academic Advisement Report.

Paper- form,  Manual  Advisement Report Request

Who Cannot Use the RAMSS Self Service Advisement Reports?

Because of the often unique and individualized nature of their curricula, students in the following programs may not use Self-Service Advising:

  • all part-time undergraduate degree students;
  • students enrolled in certificate programs offered through The Chang School.

Therefore, if you are entering your final year of study and need to know what courses you have yet to complete in order to meet your degree or certificate requirements, you should submit a Manual Advisement Report Request Form. The form is available online and at Student Records.
