Convocation Ceremonies
Convocation ceremonies at Ryerson University are held in Spring (June) and Fall (October). Senate awards degrees and certificates to students who apply to graduate and who successfully complete programs as prescribed by Ryerson University. If you have applied to graduate before the deadlines specified will be notified by mail regarding their eligibility to graduate approximately two weeks prior to the Convocation ceremony for which you applied.
If you have changed your mailing address since the time you applied, please update your address on RAMSS immediately. If your mailing address is not current, you will not receive time sensitive Convocation ceremony information.
Ceremonies for the expected graduation term of Winter take place in the Ryerson University theatre mid-June. Ceremonies for the expected graduation term of Spring/Summer take place in the Ryerson University theatre in late October.
The Convocation and Awards Office coordinates the graduation ceremonies. For detailed information about the ceremony dates, times, tickets and other ceremony related activities not related to your eligibility to graduate, please visit Convocation and Awards, or telephone the Convocation Information Line at 416-979-5234.
You must RSVP your convocation attendance and reception as soon as you receive your tickets in the mail.
