Enrollment Services and Student Fees
All full-time, first year undergraduate students are automatically enrolled in required courses as per the current calendar, and will be able to choose elective courses in mid-August. Please check your Enrollment Appointment on RAMSS for the specific date and time.
Returning students who participated in the Course Intention process will see the schedule that has been created for them via the My Weekly Schedule link in RAMSS.

Enrolling in Undergraduate Classes

- Activate your Account
New students can activate their Ryerson Online Identity after August 1.
Returning students accounts should already be activated. - Check your Enrollment Dates
Log in to RAMSS (go to my.ryerson.ca and click on the RAMSS tab) and select "Enrollment Dates" to check when you can add, drop and swap classes. - Enroll in Classes
While in RAMSS, select either "Shopping Cart" (to enroll with validation) or "Enroll/Drop/Swap" (to enroll without validation) to choose your classes.
View your class schedule by selecting "Class Schedule" from the drop down menu in the Academics section.
Newly approved undergraduate program students who do not have a complete schedule will need to create their schedule using RAMSS. - Run your Advisement Report
Run your Advisement Report to ensure that your course selections are appropriate to your degree requirements.

Swapping Undergraduate Classes
Swapping classes ensures you enroll into a class before dropping a class. To swap one undergraduate class for another, follow these simple steps:
- Log in to RAMSS
- Click the "Enroll/Drop/Swap" link
- Select the appropriate Term and Career from which the class is to be swapped.
- Click the "Swap" tab.
- Select the class to be swapped out from the drop down menu.
- Click select class.
- Select Finish Swapping.

Dropping Undergraduate Classes
To drop an undergraduate class :
- Log in to RAMSS
- Click the "Enroll/Drop/Swap" link
- Select the appropriate Term and Career from which the class is to be dropped.
- Click the "Drop" tab.
- Select the class to be dropped.
- Click Drop Selected Classes.
- Click Finish Dropping.

Please note: Notification to an instructor, non-attendance and/or telephone calls will not be accepted as an official class drop. Students who do not officially drop will be assigned a failing grade and be liable for all associated course fees. Please refer to the Significant Dates and Fee Refund information found in the Academic Calendar for more information.

Withdrawing from an Undergraduate Program
Undergraduate Short-Term Withdrawal
If you are not planning to continue in your program for the next academic year (Fall and/or Winter), please complete a Short-Term Withdrawal Form.![]()

Attention newly admitted students: Short-term withdrawals are not available to newly admitted students. New students who do not enrol in classes and attend in September will have their admit status cancelled and must re-apply for admission as per the Offer of Admission.
Undergraduate Official Program Withdrawal
To officially withdraw from your program, fill out an Application to Withdraw Form.
This form is also available from Enrollment Services and Student Fees – Lower Ground Floor (POD64).
Please note: Notification to an instructor, non-attendance and/or telephone calls will not be accepted as an official program withdrawal. Students who do not officially withdraw will be assigned failing grades for all enrolled courses and are liable for all associated course fees. Your Academic Standing may also be affected. Please refer to the Significant Dates and Fee Refund information found in the Academic Calendar for more information.
