Am I Eligible?

• You are a Canadian Citizen/Permanent Resident
• You applied for OSAP or an out of province loan in Fall Winter 2011-2012. (You must report the assessment amount from your OSAP/out of province loan on the work study application as a resource even if you did not use the loan.) 
• You are returning to Ryerson as a Full time Undergraduate degree student during this 2012/2013 school year. You were enrolled in a minimum of 3 billing units in Fall 2011 and Winter 2012.
• You have a Clear academic standing and cumulative GPA 2.0 or better
• Your Fee costs in 2011/12 are more than $2567 per term and/or book costs are more than $536/term. Not sure of your costs? - check program costs now
• You demonstrate an unmet need of at least $1000. (We will calculate your unmet need based on the financial information you enter on the budget section of the application. This section allows a student to report their living costs and resources while in school. You will be able to preview your unmet need before you submit your application)
  

IMPORTANT: The $1000 unmet need threshold does not pertain to the value of your OSAP or out of province loan amount. Students were expected to apply in Fall Winter for OSAP or an out-of-province funding and report their assessment amount even if it was $0. Students were not required or expected to use the student loan, but for purposes of the work study assessment the assessment amount must be reported as a educational resource.
