Transfer Credits
Transfer Credit Deadlines |
Apply for your Transfer Credits as soon as you are eligible: once you have received or accepted your Offer of Admission. Follow up with required documents such as course outlines, if required, as soon as your official results are confirmed on your Transfer Credit Report. Confirming Transfer Credits in advance facilitates course planning and prevents you from enrolling in courses that may be eligible for exemption.
Application Deadlines:
December 1, 2013 - final date to apply and have the results for the start of the Winter 2014 Term.
A complete application including required course outlines and final transcripts must be received by the Application Deadline to guarantee results for the start of the term.
Late Fee Deadlines:
A $50 Transfer Credit Late Fee is charged to each submission of Transfer Credit application(s), made singularly or in batch, to returning undergraduate students applying past their Late Fee Deadline.
April 1, 2013 - final date for undergraduate students admitted for the Fall 2012 Term to apply free-of-charge.
April 1, 2014 - final date for undergraduate students admitted for the Fall 2013 Term to apply free-of-charge; to submit documents required for incomplete applications, (i.e. course outlines and transcripts); and to appeal a Transfer Credit decision for an application submitted between April 2, 2013 and April 1, 2014.
The Transfer Credit Late Fee is a non-refundable processing fee charged to all undergraduate students applying after their Late Fee Deadline and will not be refunded if applications are denied.
Students who have taken a course on an approved Letter of Permission are not subject to the Transfer Credit Late Fee.

Online Applications:
The Late Fee will be charged to your record. Review the Holds section of your Student Center on the RAMSS tab of my.ryerson.ca.
To have the hold removed the Late Fee must be paid in person at Enrollment Services & Student Records (POD 64). The Late Fee cannot be paid online as it is not linked to your tuition account. Pay the Late Fee as soon as possible as the hold affects your ability to view grades and request official university documentation such as transcripts. Holds for paid Late Fees will be removed within 2 business days.
Paper Applications:
Pay the Late Fee at Enrollment Services & Student Records (POD 64) when submitting your applications. A copy of your receipt will be attached to your applications, which will be forwarded to the Transfer Credit Unit. Keep a copy of the receipt for your records.
If you mail your applications or did not pay the Late Fee when dropping off your application, the Late Fee will be charged to your record. Review the Holds section of your Student Center on the RAMSS tab of my.ryerson.ca.
