Transfer Credits

As a Yeates School of Graduate Studies student you are eligible to apply for Transfer Credits if you have completed graduate level coursework but have not been awarded a graduate degree.

Applying for Transfer Credits

Before applying for Transfer Credits see your program administrator.

Transfer Credit Applications are approved by the program director and submitted to, and approved by, the School of Graduate Studies.

Approved Transfer Credits will be posted to your Ryerson record and can be confirmed on your Transfer Credit Report on the RAMSS tab of my.ryerson.ca.

Transfer Credit Eligibility and Restrictions

Graduate level university courses are considered with a minimum grade of 70% (B-).

At the doctoral level, graduate level courses are considered with a minimum grade of 80% (A-).

Courses must not have been used to award a graduate degree. Proof of withdrawal from your previous graduate program is required.

No more than 50% of the courses required in a Ryerson graduate program may consist of Transfer Credits (including OVGS courses).
