Child & Youth Care

CYC Connections
CYC Connections is a mentoring project involving all students, alumni and faculty members from the Child and Youth Care program. This project is designed to engage students in understanding both the academic and professional identity of the child and youth care discipline. Through both educational and social activities students will have the opportunity to interact with fellow peers and enhance thier professional development.
The mentoring forum has been developed to assist students through their transition into the Child and Youth Care at Ryerson University. Students can pose questions within this forum in regards to academics and student life which will be answered by 2nd and 4th year student mentors. The site contains the descriptions of the mentors explaining thier experiences within the field of Child and Youth Care. If a student wishes to contact one of the mentors directly please do not hesitate to e-mail them (e-mail address can be found within each or thier descriptions on the forum).
The mentoring forum can be accessed through blackboard. Once logging on, scroll down to the bottom on the first page and under My Organizations click School of Child and Youth Care. On the lefthand side you will find CYC Mentor, click on that, and the CYC Mentor again, to access the discussion board.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding CYC Connections please feel free to e-mail Kiaras Gharabaghi at k.gharabaghi@ryerson.ca
