Support for Multimedia and Digital Images, Audio & Video Content
The DMP team is providing support for the use of multimedia and digital content for teaching and learning.

Consultation
Do you have questions such as: How you can create a short video snippet of yourself explaining a specific concept? Wondering whether a blogging assignment would help students create audio/video reflection on their learning? Would recording your lectures and make them available be useful to your students when they study for an exam?
The DMP provides consultation service for you to brainstorm, discuss, and plan on if and how you would incorporate multimedia and digital content in your teaching.
Production Assistance
In our two fully equipped multimedia production suites you'll find both PC and Macintosh computers outfitted with current tools required to tackle just about any digital media project. Our staff are always close at hand should you require assistance, or you can book time with an individual in advance if your foresee a more involved consultation or training session.
The DMP also houses a fully equipped audio recording facility. This service requires a DMP operator and must be booked in advance. There is a fee associated with this service.

Production Services
As an alternative to providing instruction and assistance in your authoring of multimedia materials, we can also provide full service digital media production. That is, we will create the materials for you.
Perhaps you need a website developed, a conference poster designed, a diagram or illustration animated, or maybe you have a concept which you'd like built into an interactive virtual model - well, we can provide those services. We can also turn your visions into video, for promotional or educational purposes, or perhaps you'd like an event, lecture, demonstration or guest presentation filmed and edited for DVD or online distribution. The DMP is the place to come for all of these and more.
A fee of $50/hr may be associated with these services. Some services may be subject to a minimum fee (eg. Event Webcasting).
