Digital Copyright
DMP Guidelines
When making use of DMP facilities, and/or employing DMP staff to assist in the production, or distribution of electronic or printed materials, all clients are reminded that the DMP is bound by copyright law.
We would ask that all source materials, such as music, video, photographs, journal articles, be accompanied by written copyright clearance, where applicable. We regret we cannot commence work with materials from outside sources, unless accompanied by proof of copyright clearance.
Ryerson Experts
Digital copyright is not the grey area some people may think it is. Without copyright clearance it is rare to be within the law if you are distributing digital materials via a website or Blackboard course.
Colleagues in the Ryerson Library can provide further information and help you with obtaining copyright permissions.
