Ryerson is known as a place dedicated to learning, but now a space has been created specifically for students to develop their own ideas. The Digital Media Zone.
The Zone is designed to help take any digitally-inspired concept and make it real - whether the idea is part of a project or event, or a marketable product or service, or a business plan.
More than just a cool space to work in, The Zone is an innovative idea itself. Run by students for students, participants from across the university - in the arts program, communication and design, engineering, business, medicine and beyond - come here to connect, collaborate and create.
Aside from the energy-charged atmosphere, The Zone has everything you need to get creative - teaming with fellow members, access to the latest equipment and advanced technologies, advice and insight from mentors, including faculty and industry experts, and - through the Start Me Up program - info on funding, patents, marketing and more.
And, The Zone is open to every Ryerson student - grad, undergrad, full-time, part-time or alumni - from any program.
Interested? We thought you might be. Now, here's how to get in The Zone.
You can also visit Ryerson's Media Spotlight on the DMZ for more information on our official launch this month.

We are located at 10 Dundas St East, Suite 502.
