2011 Awards Event and Celebration of Students

The School of Early Childhood Education hosted the 2011 Annual Awards Presentation Ceremony and Celebration of Students on Monday, November 21st, 2011.

The Director of the School, Dr. Rachel Langford, honoured Early Childhood Education students who had received University-wide awards in the past year:
- Noah Kenneally, recipient of a 2011 Undergraduate Research Opportunities (URO) Scholars Program
- Stefanie Webster, recipient of a 2011 Office of the Vice President, Students, Student Leadership Award
- Ellie Murphy, recipient of the President’s National Entrance Scholarship and a 3rd year member in the President’s Scholars Circle.
- The 91 ECE students on the 2010-2011 Dean's List
- The 22 first year Entrance Scholarship recipients Fall 2011
Awards of Merit, for contribution to student life and the program in academic year 2011-20112 were presented to the executive members of student organizations: Undergraduate Course Union, the School Council, the Council for Exceptional Children, the Graduate Students Association (M.A, Early Childhood Studies), The DEGB (Direct Entry, George Brown Club) and the Career Mentors.
