Program Specific Documents

Statement of Interest

After applying online, a brief statement of interest (about 500 words in length) is required from the applicant as supporting documentation to complete the graduate application.

The statement should address the following:

a) your reason for pursuing graduate studies in Early Childhood Studies;

b) the research interest(s) you may wish to pursue in a research paper;

c) how your previous studies and experience have prepared you for the Master of Arts (MA) program; and

d) your career objectives and how the graduate program relates to them.

e) Provide up to 3 names from the program's Faculty and Adjunct Membership Directory of a Professor with whom you would like to work with as either an Advisor/Supervisor.

Letter of Recommendation

After applying online, applicants are required to submit two letters of recommendation to complete the graduate application.

Academic letters of recommendation are preferred.  Applicants may substitute one academic reference for a professional reference.

The choice of a referee is at the discretion of the applicant.  We suggest that applicants select referees who can evaluate and write about the applicant's academic strengths and capacity to conduct research.

Resume/Curriculum Vitae (CV)

After applying online, applicants are required to submit either a resume or CV to complete the graduate application.

Include any additional information you feel would strengthen your graduate application.  For example,  highlight your achievements, awards, or suitability to conduct research.

We look forward to receiving your application!
