Early Childhood Studies
Aneidah Nadoo, B.A., Early Childhood Studies
Alumni, class of 2012

Aneidah is currently a student in the Faculty of Law, Juris Doctor Program at the University of Ottawa. She began her legal education in September 2012, immediately after completing her Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education at Ryerson.
According to Aneidah, the Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education has provided her with both academic and practical skills on how to assess and meet the differing needs of a diverse population. It has equipped her with the knowledge necessary to advocate and promote change in social policies and promote equitable opportunity for marginalized children and families. Having an understanding of the developmental needs of children in accordance with current social policies gave Aneidah a unique and advantageous perspective in law school. Her experience in the Bachelor of Arts in ECE program at Ryerson has been nothing short of inspiring as she states that it has had a direct influence on her decision to pursue law. “At Ryerson, I was surrounded by remarkable professors who motivated me to think creatively and critically while constantly encouraging me to challenge my own limits.”
Aneidah would like to channel her passion for effective advocacy for children as a lawyer. Her goal is to work as a Children’s Lawyer, to advocate for children’s rights and to advocate for social policies that foster inclusion and equitable opportunity for all children and families.
