Ensuring We Stay on Track

The University has developed a formal audit program for measuring the performance of EHS and Security Programs and organizational commitment to related policies.  Deans and Directors can request or may be required to undergo audits of specific areas or departments within their respective Faculty or department. These audits are conducted in partnership with EHSS.

On a more routine bases, all Chairs, Academic Directors and Managers are required by policy to track and monitor, each month, key EHS and security performance indicators to benchmark certain conditions in their areas , including workplace inspection findings, accident profiles and training participation rates.

EHSS provide copies of indicator review data specific to your department.  These include copies of workplace inspections, accident summaries, MOL orders and training records.
