Mission Statement

Our mission is to create and maintain a safe, welcoming, affirming and inclusive work, study and living environment for all members of the Ryerson community including people with disabilities. No Barriers @ Ryerson is a proactive organization, determined to end all forms of indirect, direct and systemic discrimination through such means as education, training, advocacy and policy and curriculum development.

Discrimination based on disability occurs in concert with other forms of discrimination, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, religion, age and class. In view of this, No Barriers @ Ryerson will endeavour to be inclusive and representative of our diverse communities and to address discrimination in any of its forms within and beyond the University’s borders.
