Welcome to Ethics@Ryerson!!

Practical and Professional Ethics are among the most exciting, dynamic and socially significant fields of interdisciplinary study rooted in philosophy. These fields combine insights and achievements garnered from the pursuit of wisdom with commitment to public service and the common good. They provide opportunities for critical reflection upon social practices and public policies, and for applying ethical theories and concepts to contemporary social issues.

Current activities include Ethics Certificate and the Ethics Network Speaker Series, which provides a venue for faculty, scholars, students, professionals, and community members to meet and explore mutual interests. The Website contains online resources for those who wish to undertake future enquiries in the areas of Professional Ethics and Human Rights.

Please feel free to contact us with inquiries, suggestions and feedback.
