The Ryerson Connection

The Ryerson Connection is an association of Ryerson retirees, both faculty and staff. Originally formed more than 25 years ago as an informal gathering of faculty, over time it has grown, and now includes members from across all Faculties as well as a number of administrative staff.

The Ryerson Connection serves as a way for retirees to maintain contact with each other, and with Ryerson. It’s primary activity is holding bi-monthly gatherings during the academic year (September-May). These gatherings involve a presentation by either a member or a guest speaker, as well as a short business meeting. Currently, they are held at 1 PM on the fourth Wednesday of the month, and run approximately 90 minutes; many members meet in the South Hub cafeteria for a “brown bag” lunch prior to the presentation.
