Deadline Details:

The deadline for submission of Winter 2013 Chang School grades is 4:00 pm on April 30, 2013 via RAMSS.

As part of normal policy, Program Directors, Deans, the University Registrar, and the Vice Provost Students are notified of grades that have not been submitted by the deadline. Grading information is needed to ensure the accurate assessment of students' academic standings. Academic continuance reviews are normally held the day after the grade submission deadline.

If you are aware of a problem in meeting this deadline, please notify facultysupport@ryerson.ca (ext. 2292) as soon as possible.

Chang School instructors are encouraged to contact Linda Kowal (ext 7566), Manager, Instructor Relations, in The Chang School of Continuing Education. Instructors may contact Operations Support by email at facultysupport@ryerson.ca or by phone at extension 2292 for grading assistance.

Grading stations and in-person grading assistance are available at Student Records, Room POD70.

General Grading Information

Confidentiality: Student grades are confidential and are protected by Ryerson’s Confidentiality Policy and the Privacy Legislation (Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act).  Please take this into consideration when handling documents containing grade information, accessing web pages with grade data and the like. If you have any questions about confidentiality of information, please contact facultysupport@ryerson.ca (ext. 2292) or view the privacy policy.

Release of Grades: Final grades are not to be released to students as there may be outstanding obligations to the University. Final grades are only released by the Registrar's Office. Students may begin accessing Winter 2013 grades at 8am Wednesday, May 8, 2013.

Grade Policy and Grade Definitions: The purpose of University's Grading Policy is to ensure that the grading practices throughout the University reflect appropriate academic standards: that the evaluation of student performance is made in a fair and objective manner against these academic standards; and that grades are assigned fairly and equitably across campus.
