Moving Frames, Shifting Boundaries: Artistic Experiments and Innovation in Film and Video

Guest Curators: Gerda Cammaer and Pierre Tremblay

Moving Frames, Shifting Boundaries is a selection of experimental film and video works produced by students in the School of Image Arts, Ryerson University, under the mentorship of professors Gerda Cammaer and Pierre
Tremblay. While the general public rarely has the opportunity to see this type of work, experimental film and video make a substantial contribution to the development of film as an independent art form and to visual and media arts in general. Showcasing a new series of innovative and imaginative singlechannel works produced over the past two years, Moving Frames, Shifting Boundaries presents the talent of our future media artists, functioning as a salon des promesses. The exhibition’s three different programs will run consecutively for the entire duration of the show.
