PPCM Students Get Coveted International Spots

Students from Ryerson's graduate studies program in Photographic Preservation and Collections Management have been drawing attention since the unique program was first offered in 2004. This year is no exception. This summer, two current graduate students - Michael Rajzman and Marcos Armstrong - have been offered scholar-in-residence positions at the CIRMA Fototeca in Antigua Guatemala. Both students will work with the director of CIRMA in beginning a preservation assessment that will serve as a program to both preserve and protect the organization's collections, as well as modernizing access to the collections - including online and internationally.
Other students from the PPCM program will also be travelling the continent and the world with internships at the National Gallery of Art Washington and at galleries in Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Moscow. In the words of the the program director Dr. Marta Braun - they are conquering the world!
