Featuring many talented photographers with incredible images encompass tragedy, life altering events and social documentary. IMA alumni Dominic Nahr is one of those ten photographers with Heglig, Sudan. April 17, 2012. The powerful image depicts the mechanical casualties of war at a damaged oil facility. Arriving to the oil facility Dominic “walked cautiously towards the burst pipe. Only then did he see the body, draped in sticky black.” His ability to capture such a compelling and strong image speaks for his well-deserved spot on this years TIMES list.
