A building that cares for its neighbourhood, its community and its city
The Daphne Cockwell Health Sciences Complex is a touchstone for the ongoing revitalization of Church Street, bringing pedestrian energy and activity to an important area of our campus and the city.
Ryerson has a strong track record of success as a catalyst for change and renewal both on campus and in the university’s downtown neighbourhood. The Mattamy Athletic Centre at Maple Leaf Gardens returned crowds to the country’s most historic sports arena, while the Ryerson Image Centre is helping establish Toronto as an international photography destination. The new Student Learning Centre is leading a transformation of Yonge Street.
The Daphne Cockwell Health Sciences Complex take its place among these city-building projects — all of which put students first and, in the process, bring new vibrancy to their immediate surroundings.
