Booking Appointments with
the First-Year Academic Advisor

First-year engineering students can book appointments to see the FYCEO Academic Advisor, Dr. Lamya Amleh, through Google Calendar.

Booking appointments is fast and easy. Just sign into your Google Calendar account through Blackboard and then access Dr. Amleh's calendar here. Please ensure you are viewing the calendar using the time zone setting - Eastern Standard Time. You can click on the Settings icon to adjust the time zone.

If you do not have a Google Calendar account, please note that you can create one if you move your RMail email account over to GMail (visit Ryerson Google Apps). If you choose not to move to GMail, you can still sign up for a Google Calendar account using your own email address. Simply access Dr. Amleh's calendar above and then click the "SIGN UP" button at the Google Calendar Sign-In page.

Select a time

Once you are signed in, you should see a calendar with five-minute time slots that are open. Simply click a time that works for you and the time is yours! Congratulations! You've successfully booked an appointment with Dr. Amleh. If you wish to confirm or see your booking at a later time, you can sign into your own Google Calendar account to see the time you have reserved. Again, please ensure you are viewing the calendar using the time zone setting - Eastern Standard Time. You can click on the Settings icon to adjust the time zone.

Booking Etiquette

Please book only one five-minute time-slot; any multiple-slot bookings on the same day may be cancelled without notification.

If you need to cancel an appointment, you must email fyceo@ryerson.ca and delete your booking online.
