Dear Friends,

At Ryerson’s Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Science (FEAS), we are committed to excellence in education and research. We deliver high-quality education that produces workforce-ready graduates and we carry out vital research that improves daily life.

FEAS is one of the largest faculties of its kind in Canada with more than 5,000 students enrolled in 15 undergraduate programs, and over 1,100 students in 13 graduate programs. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in the accreditation of seven of our engineering programs by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board, and the accreditation of our Computer Science program by the Canadian Information Processing Society. Our Architectural Science program recently received full accreditation from the Canadian Architecture Certification Board. Accreditation is an external quality assurance peer review process based on national standards. Each of the Ryerson engineering programs achieved the highest possible rating, a remarkable achievement in which we all take great pride.

At Ryerson we are committed to our students’ engagement with the world beyond academia and the borders of Canada. For example, we have student mobility partnerships with leading universities in Europe and China and we strongly encourage our students to participate in a variety of competitions. These opportunities help students to develop strong communication, teamwork and leadership skills, and we are delighted to see teams from Ryerson placing well in national and international competitions.

As we move forward, FEAS remains committed to excellence in education and research. We will continue to develop new programs, establish and strengthen national and international partnerships, and improve the Ryerson student experience.
