Graduate Programs

The Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science currently offers eight master's programs and five doctoral programs, all designed to include a high degree of interaction between faculty members and graduate students, and to have a strong component of scholarship, research, and creative activity. Our Master of Architecture program is accredited by the Canadian Architectural Certification Board.

Aerospace Engineering
Students in this program will conduct significant, internationally recognized research in key areas of importance to the aerospace community within Canada.
Architecture
As issues around the natural environment increase in importance, architects must be willing and able to take on leadership roles within society. This accredited program prepares students to do just that.

Building Science
This unique program offers graduates of building-related programs the opportunity to explore the building science principles necessary to deliver sustainable buildings.
Chemical Engineering
This dynamic program emphasizes research in water, wastewater and food treatment technologies, and polymer and process engineering.
Civil Engineering
This state-of-the-art program is designed to prepare highly qualified graduate students to play an active role in enhancing the nation's economic, environmental and social development.
Computer Networks
This program is geared towards networking professionals wishing to increase their knowledge, as well as those less familiar with the area who are preparing to enter the high-demand field of computer networks.
Electrical and Computer Engineering
Students in this program will conduct significant research in the areas of signal processing and communications, computer systems engineering, and power engineering.
Mechanical Engineering
Students in this program will conduct advanced research in thermofluids, manufacturing, materials, solid mechanics and industrial engineering.
