Science Without Borders

Launched in 2011 by the Brazilian government, Ciência sem Fronteiras (Science Without Borders) aims to send more than 100,000 Brazilian students to study internationally in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Applying to Science Without Borders at Ryerson University

The Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science is pleased to participate in Science Without Borders.

Interested students must submit applications directly to Ciência sem Fronteiras, and should select Ryerson University as one of their top three institution choices.

Once students have been selected to receive a Science Without Borders scholarship for studies in Canada, the process for admission into individual universities begins. Ciência sem Fronteiras will send approved applications for students wishing to study at Ryerson University to the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE), who in turn, liaises with Ryerson. Acceptance to study at Ryerson is at Ryerson’s sole discretion.

The Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science offers Science Without Borders students a wide range of engineering and architectural science programs in which to study. All our undergraduate programs, with the exception of Undeclared Engineering, are available to SWB students.
