The Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science is home to more than 150 faculty members - all experts in their fields who are keen on sharing their knowledge and guiding our students in research pursuits. They're also experienced collaborators, accustomed to working across disciplinary boundaries and beyond the walls of academia to discover innovative, workable solutions to real-world issues.

Dr. Habiba Bougherara (Mechanical and Industrial Engineering) is a pioneer of a composite bone-repair material that can increase the performance of implants.

Dr. Russell Richman (Architectural Science) increases the energy efficiency of aging housing stock in large cities.

Dr. Bala Venkatesh (Electrical and Computer Engineering) modernizes processes and tools for optimal performance of our power systems.

Dr. Bo Tan (Aerospace Engineering) breaks new ground in micro-fabrication of materials with the use of short-pulsed lasers.
