Applying to Foundations of Management
Step 1: Create an Account/Login to Your Account
To apply to the Foundations of Management program at Ryerson University, you must first login to your account. If you have not yet created an account, you will need to do so. Please follow the link below to either login or to create a new account (both operations can be completed from this page). A new window/tab will open so that this page will remain available to you.

Step 2: Prepare Your Application
Once an account has been created and you have logged in, you may start preparing your application. Click the "Prepare Your Application" link in the left navigation section to start this process. A new page will load with seven application steps that need to be completed before the application may be submitted. These steps are presented across the top of the page with instructions below this grouping.
Step 3: Program Choice
To specify the Foundations of Management program on your application click on "Program Choices" in the grouping of seven application steps. The "Program Choices" page will load. Click on the "Add New Program" button on the right of the screen, a new page will load allowing you to select the "Foundations of Management" program. You will find it listed at the bottom of the page. To select the program, click the arrow bullet to the left of the listing.
After selecting the Foundations of Management program from the list of available programs, a new page will load to collect some additional information. In the "Program Details" section, specify the year that you previously applied or the year you have previously registered (if applicable). Please enter FMG for the "Courses or Discipline Requested" field. Click the "Add to Application" button to finalize the selection of this program. You will be returned to the "Program Choices" page.
Note: An application fee applies and will be listed under the programs you are applying for.
Step 4: Personal Information
Complete the "Personal Information" application step by clicking that link at the top of the page. The section "Other Information" appears at the bottom of the page.
If you are an existing or previous Ryerson University Student, please enter your Ryerson Student Number in the "Ryerson Student ID#" field.
If you are NOT an existing or previous Ryerson University Student, please leave the field "Ryerson Student ID#" blank. A new student number will be manually created for you as part of the application process.
Click the "Save and Continue" button.
Step 5: Address Information, Institutions Attended, and Transcript Requests
Complete the application steps for your address information and the institutions you have attended. Again, use the links at the top of the page. Once you have added the institutions you have attended you may request transcripts from those institutions. This is done through the "Transcript Requests" link at the top of the page.
If a transcript from a given institution cannot be obtained electronically, a sealed hard copy of the transcript must be mailed from your undergraduate institution to the Director of Foundations of Management program. The mailing address is listed below:

Step 6: Test Scores
Test scores are not used as part of the application process for the Foundations of Management program. Please do not use this step.
Step 7: Activities
The "Activities" section of your application allows you to specify your educational and non-educational activities from the beginning of high school to present. Please complete this section.
Step 8: Submission of Application
Once you have completed all the steps (except for "Test Scores") for your application, and you are satisfied with the content, you must submit the application. Use the "Submit Application" menu item in the left navigation section to do this.

We anticipate admission decisions will be posted to your Choose>Ryerson portal beginning mid-December.
