Ryerson Foundations of Management

Curriculum

This initiative has been specifically designed for non-business graduates to optimize learning outcomes through the following curricular mechanisms.

The pre-learning assessment (PLAR) tests mathematical and writing skills with two one-hour tests. The results from the tests will be used to customize course content for students.

The Foundations workshop series includes a number of critical business topics such as statistics, numeracy and other essential skills, which will ensure optimized student success and learning outcomes in the Foundations of Management courses.

The six Foundations of Management courses, completed in a designated order over three terms, provide a comprehensive set of advanced business skills for the non-business graduate.
