FAQ - General Program Questions
What credential will I receive when I complete this initiative?
You will receive a "Professional Achievement in Management" designation from the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University.
When do classes and workshop series start?
The next session dates are to be determined. Information will be posted as soon as available.
When are Foundations of Management classes and the workshop series held?
The workshops are typically held over five Sundays, and the Foundations of Management classes are typically held on Saturdays during the winter, spring/summer and fall semesters.
How many hours a week will be required for this initiative?
In the Foundations of Management course series, students will take two courses per semester, which are both 3 hours per week. In order to be successful, students should plan on devoting a minimum of 8-10 hours per week for each course for reading, assignments, study group meetings and class time.
Are students required to have a laptop?
No, but it is recommended.
Where is the Ted Rogers School of Management?
The Ted Rogers School of Management is located in the heart of downtown Toronto at 575 Bay St. (entrance at 55 Dundas St. W.), steps away from Yonge and Dundas Square. You may also refer to the "Campus Maps" link on the top navigation bar above.
What are the admission requirements for the Foundations of Management initiative?

Are qualifications such as applied degrees or diplomas from an Ontario College, or equivalent institution, accepted?
Applicants are required to have completed a 4-year undergraduate degree. College diplomas or applied degrees, regardless of discipline, are not accepted. Graduates of a degree completion program or direct entry program for college graduates from an accredited university will be eligible for admission.
Can acceptance be deferred?
No. Offers of admission are made for a specific start date only.

FAQ - Fees
Is there an application fee?
Yes. The fee is $80 (subject to change) and will be required before your application is processed.
What are the fees and when am I expected to pay?
Please refer to http://www.ryerson.ca/fom/admissions for details on fees. Fees are payable prior to the start of the first week of classes in each semester.
Are fees different for International Students?
Yes. International students will pay higher fees than Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
