Ryerson University Launches New Foundations of Management Initiative
Ryerson University is pleased to announce the launch of the new Foundations of Management initiative starting in September,2011.
Dr. Jane Saber is the Interim director of this innovative series which allows non-business graduates the opportunity to take advanced business courses. Dr. Saber stated that this is "an amazing opportunity for Canadian and international non-business graduate[s] to have access to the Foundations of Management content".
Saber states: "This initiative is great for the non-business graduate who may have some concerns over his or her numerical skills and abilities. These graduates are probably in a very similar position that I found myself in: I hadn't used my numeracy skills for years and was rather intimidated by the GMAT. If only there had been a series like this when I was struggling through...".
The structure of the initiative, which includes a pre-learning assessment, a multi-session business workshop and six Foundations of Management courses is specifically designed for customized learning and optimized success for students. According to Saber, "This is the best business education opportunity I have come across (for non-business graduates)in a very long time...Ryerson University clearly cares about helping interested students reach their full business potential".
