Mark Gorgolewski

Dr Mark Gorgolewski is currently a Professor and the Director of the Graduate Programme in the Building Science in Ryerson's Department of Architectural Science.  His areas of research include sustainable housing, the impact of urban agriculture on building design, building performance assessment, and reuse of resources.  He is a co-recipient of the 2007-2008 ACSA/AIA Housing Design Education Award.

Mark is also one of the curators for Carrot City: Designing for Urban Agriculture.  Carrot City "explores the relationship of design and urban food systems as well as the impact that agricultural issues have on the design of urban spaces and buildings as society addresses the issues of a more sustainable pattern of living" (www.ryerson.ca/carrotcity).
