PHASE 4 - ENSURING OBJECTIVES ARE MET Act Quickly, think slowly... - Greek Proverb The single most important job of the FORUM chair is to act as project manager of the event and manage the job. After all, the team is only as strong as its leader. According to the Project Management Institute's (PMI) Standard Committee, there are nine project management Knowledge Areas. They include: Project Integration Management, Project Scope Management, Project Time Management, Project Cost Management, Project Quality Management, Project Human Resource Management, Project Communications Management, Project Risk Management and Project Procurement Management. This phase will briefly discuss each area as it relates to the management of FORUM. Since the project of FORUM does not require the FORUM chair to do Project Procurement Management, this area will not be discussed on this web site.
