While graduates of Geographic Analysis leave Ryerson with the academic and workplace competencies sought in a broad range of jobs, the program uniquely prepares the majority of its graduates for very specific data analysis, planning, and decision support positions in the private and public sectors. Typical job titles of our recent alumni include Data Analyst, GIS Specialist, Geomatics Technician, Mapping Technologist, Market Analyst, Research Analyst, Retail Analyst, Real Estate Analyst, Location Analyst, Environmental Analyst, Report Analyst, Crime Analyst, and Health Analyst. Some of our graduates also pursue a broader range of careers, including as teachers, administrators, real estate agents, policy advisors, etc., or continue their studies at the graduate level.
