The 13th International Conference on Geoinformatics will take place in Toronto, Canada on August 17 – 19, 2005. It is the thirteenth of a series of international conferences that began in 1993 with the aim of providing a unique gathering place and open forum for geospatial professionals and practitioners from all disciplines to exchange experience and knowledge on Geoinformatics. The conference theme, “Coping with Disasters across Continents”, encourages divisive topics related to developing geospatial data solutions and technologies to facilitate various decision-making processes and geospatially enabled operations prior to, during and post natural and human disasters on local, national or global scales. We trust that the event will offer an unprecedented opportunity for you to discover the cutting-edge Geoinformatics technology and its development and applications in disaster management and emergency response.
